2nd fiddle

I just realised, this is the 3rd yr in a row that I went for a job interview around this time of yr. Suffice to say I didn't get the 1st 2, though I was the 'spare' for the 1 last yr. Last week I went for yet another interview, & again I have come secopnd fiddle. At least this time they said that the person has yet to take the offer & that there is a second post which I might be interested in. Ah well, let's just wait & see.
